De-icing/Anti-icing for DI-L10/20/30/30B

The course is designed for all staff involved in aircraft de/anti-icing.

At the end of this course the students will be able to ensure safe winter specific operations in full accordance with the syllabus.

Syllabus:

Introduction.

Module 1 : Organisations, standards and regulations.

Module 2 : Aircraft performance.

Modul3 3 : Critical surfaces.

Module 4 : Weather.

Module 5 : Fluides.

Module 6 : Fluide checks.

Module 7 : De/anti-icing procedures (methodology of applications)

Module 8 : HOT – hold over times

Module 9 : Anti-icing code..

Module 10 : Facilities and deicing equipment

Module 11 : Environnent and emergency procedures.

Module 12 : Quality control.

Module 13 : Local procedures.

Course duration: theory 8 hours for recurrency / 8 – 14 hours (recommended) for initial training.                              : practical training 8 hours (separate training course designed for up to 6 staff) –    practical instructor accreditation (local staff)
