Loading Supervisor

The aim of this course is to ensure full compliance with the international regulations (ICAO, EASA, etc) as well with the National authorities.

Target group: crew chiefs or substitutes, ramp and ops duty managers, ramp and operations manager or substitutes, persons assigned to signe the LIRF (loading instructions and report forms and NOTOC (notification to captain).


Syllabus:

  1. Basic knowledge about W&B (weight and ballance) and goods loaded.
  2. Forces acting over an aircraft in flight.
  3. Fuel policy.
  4. Main aircraft components.
  5. Structural aircraft weigts.
  6. Unit Load Devices.
  7. Bulk loading.
  8. LIR(F) – Loading Instructions and Report (Form).
  9. L/S (load sheet) and NOTOC
  10. Standard messages.
  11. Special load.
  12. Loading charts usage.
  13. Case studies / accidents* (optional)


Course duration: 3 days / 20 – 24 hours (May be tailored pending on local needs).
